after the foundations had been put in (which took about one week) we were ready to build...but first all the concrete blocks needed to be put near to the site so stacking them is easier...

and had some gravel, sand and cement delivered at our doorstep

next we got up very early to escape the midday heat: starting around 6.30 AM

using a mini digger (and a maxi man for it)
