We made a bet who would be brave enough to dive into the pool first this year...

Sien dipped in his paw but decided against it: too wet!


In the end my mother won: brave heart!

Although Jochem came a close second...
And I think I am going to wait untill the first heatwave strikes: brrrrrr!

we've been putting uncountable wheelbarrowloads of river gravel around the house (ourselves) to be raked out later. You might think that's Zen but actually it's called slave labour... It does give a pretty graphic picture...
