It is supposed to rain today and the skies looked promising but up to now not one single drop.... we NEED some water over here.

HEMA stands for Hollandsche Eenheidsprijzen Maatschappij Amsterdam and is a shop every person from Holland grew up with and misses when they live abroad. The shop has now gone online but I doubt they'll be shipping to the south of Spain... I'm now waiting for IKEA to open it's doors in Málaga in the near future.

The company I work for Gretes Holiday Rentals consists of only girls (or should I say women?) which makes good marketing sometimes. I do the graphic design and also the photography so usually am lucky enough to be excluded from the photo.
Meet the team: Karolina (Polish) Anette (Norwegian) Linda (Swedish) Ia (Finnish) Sandra (Dutch) Margaretha (Norwegian). Missing: Marisa (Spanish) Anne (Norwegian and having a baby about now) and me...
The owner, Grete herself is Norwegian, which explains the nordic touch of the company.

Besides our native languages we also speak English, Spanish, German and French, so you could say it's a pretty international mix.

a fesh dip in the pool is the best cure for Wim the next day

essential magazine party

Essential Magazine, a free glossy magazine on the Costa del Sol gave a party to celebrate it's 100th edition and I got tickets because the company where I work advertises in the magazine.

First VIP entrance to a rock concert in the Bullring of Estepona with Steve Harley and the Cockney Rebels. (I didn't know him but I did recognise some of his songs). Nice!

After party at Puro Beach Club with a great DJ and a free bar as well.
Life could be worse...

flash

photography at night is always difficult, dark backgrounds and flash make strange pictures

especially if a bottle of Stolichnaya is involved...
