Went to a jazz concert of Silje Nergaard at the Teatro Cervantes yesterday evening in Málaga.
Beautiful Voice!

Did I ever mention that we have a waterfall on our "estate"?
Most of the land that you see on this photo is ours: our house is right on the top and on the right hand side in the middle you can vaguely see our waterfall.

Pictures taken early this morning on my way to work...I didn't have my camera with me but the camera on my mobile at least gives a small impression. Full moon still in the sky towards the north-west and the sun rising above mist coming in from the Mediterranean. You don't get this in the Netherlands...

New Life

Born on the 22nd of January; Tyler Carey Castle.
Son of Richard and Willow, brother of Indigo and also very tiny and very cute!

Back to the Beach

Special request from Boy. He loved it sooo much the first time so we went back to the beach today...

The almond trees around us on the mountain are blossoming now in January.

Caroline and Jacques

Caroline and Jacques came for lunch and admired the view from the top terrace.


Not bad, eating outside on the 6th of January.
I know, it's starting to get boring, but this is one of the reasons why we came here!
Had an nice Italian style lunch and Italian style discussions, lovely!


In the meanwhile, Sien couldn't care less about politics...

First Snow

It's not much but it's there! First snow on the mountaintops seen from our house.
In an hour or two it'll be gone.

Boy on the Beach

1st of January and Boy goes to the beach for the first time in his life.
He's a bit surprised by this funny salty water in the beginning...

But overcomes his fear very soon and is chasing the ball as always.

Loves swimming in the sea

I think he likes this even more than the river.
