BONFIRE I

Trying to light a fire when there is wind and you only have matches is a challenge


It started out windy and a bit cold so everyone dressed warm


But soon we had a blazing fire ánd the sun came out

cutting back olive trees

We're cutting back olive trees and removing mistletoe. Mom is enjoying the work

Me and my dad working together. We've got a saw on a long pole to cut back the upper branches.

Even then I had to climb into the trees to reach the branches furthest away

Chris in a tree as well, he's done the most work

My mom just loves the sea

But thinks 'Marbella ladies' dress funny for the time of the year, they'll do anything to get an early tan. (I couldn't photograph her from the front, it would be too obvious)

Our first oranges! We were given these trees by my family on our wedding day and it took 5 years before they produced oranges

Appeltaart

My first 'appeltaart' with my grandmother's recipe made for Sunny's birthday who was turning 5. Slightly burnt on the sides but everybody loved it.
