DELAY!

This all happened last summer in 2005.
One fine evening in september (after having been to my brothers wedding in Taiwan) a little white car came up our track and stopped at our house. A man came out saying he was from the 'ayuntamiento' (the municipality of Coín) and asked us if we had a permit for building the wall?
A permit??? For building a containing wall so that the earth doesn't wash away when it rains and to protect the property???? Yes, a permit! Nope, we didn't have it and it took us about 6 months to get a (verbal) permission to continue. We're still waiting for the permit on paper. Which also means that we will have to pay a fee :-) because that is why they want us to get a permit: money!
So now in march of this year we started thinking about our swimming pool which we desperately need in the hot summer months. To be able to supply the pool with water we need a bigger water supply and we don't like the white tank sitting on our terace. Why not make use of the wall which we already have an build a water storage room under the ground with 2 tanks?
When that is done the digger that will come to dig the hole for the pool can fill in the rest of the area with the earth that he digs up.
So, with these ideas in mind our building adventure is continued...
