Vertigo is hoogtevrees in Engeland...
helaas, vertigo is spatial disorientation, the fear of all pilots. Hoogtevrees is simpelweg fear of heights of als je wilt: acrophobia.
net opgezocht: agoraphobia is pleinvrees
hoogtevrees hebben "sofrer de acrofobia" hebben de Portugezen ook. ze hebben ook wel "sofrer de vertigens". in het enkelvoud hebben ze "vertigem". ik ben ook een beetje bang als ik hoog los bungel; in een bakje in de hoogste kraan bijvoorbeeld.
