We were about to leave for the airport to go to Holland when it started hailing with a vengeance: hailstones as big as golfballs. Impressive! 60.000 cars on the Costa del Sol have dents in them, any garden furniture made of plastic has holes in them (we have teak) and the olive harvest this year is ruined...

The next day in Riethoven, the south of Holland... we had an al fresco lunch with the complete family, the sun was shining and the temperatures agreeable... this is not why we moved to Spain!

But... we were happy being there and I think Koen enjoyed it as well.
